Nathan Hadlow
Nathan Hadlow (Managing Director) is a Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker (QPIB) He has completed a Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking) and is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF). He has over thirty two years’ experience in the insurance industry; ten years with major insurers in commercial underwriting and claims and has worked as a general insurance broker in all classes of general insurance since 1998. Nathan loves starting the day with a swim down at Middleton Beach and is involved in the Albany Classic Motorsport Club Inc and the annual Albany Classic Motor Event.
Anastasia Hawkins
Anastasia joined South Coast Insurance Brokers in 2016 and was appointed to Broking Operations Manager in 2022. Anastasia recently completed a Bachelor of Business (Insurance/Finance) with distinction, and has previously completed all industry training including the Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking) earning the title of Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker (QPIB). Anastasia is an extremely capable broker, and was recognised as a state finalist for the WA Young Broker of the Year Award in 2023. Anastasia has been invited to attend a number of highly competitive programs, including the Hollard Aspire Women Leaders and Vero Future Ready You programs in 2023 and the Allianz Young Eagle program in 2018. Anastasia is passionate about advocating for our clients, and always works hard to achieve the best possible outcomes. After hours, Anastasia enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, attempting to train her Italian Greyhound, and playing AFL for Railways Football and Sporting Club.
Rayna Robinson
With over 40 years working in the insurance sector, Rayna has worked for a variety of brokers and insurers in both Perth and Albany, and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to South Coast Insurance Brokers. Strata Insurance is one of her specialties, and building strong relationships with her clients while finding and providing resolutions in relation to their insurance needs is one of the things she enjoys about working in this sector. By completing both insurance-related courses (Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking)), as well as tertiary qualifications (including a Bachelor of Science (Lib Tech)), Rayna shows a commitment to education, that can only be of benefit to her clients.
She and her family chose to move to the Great Southern in 2003 to a more “civilized” climate and now lives on a lifestyle property halfway between Albany and Denmark. Socially, Rayna likes to unwind by watching TV in the evenings or reading a novel. She loves dancing and the occasional bushwalk, and has been known to partake of the local vintage as well.
Lisa Symmans
Lisa Symmans is a Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker (QPIB) and has completed a Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking). Lisa has over thirty years’ experience in the insurance industry; Eleven years as a Commercial Claims officer with SGIO and SGIC specialising in Workers Compensation claims management. Lisa has worked at South Coast Insurance Brokers since 2003 as an Office Broker. Lisa is a long term member of the Albany Surf Life Saving Club, enjoys walking and swimming and is a proud member/supporter of the West Coast Eagles.
Tracey Donaldson
Tracey Donaldson is a Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker (QPIB) and has completed a Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking). Tracey has over forty years’ experience in the insurance industry, working for both Insurance companies and brokers. Tracey joined South Coast Insurance Brokers in September 2015 as an Office Broker and has a broad knowledge of the Australian insurance market in all classes of insurance. Tracey loves cooking and enjoying time with her friends and pottering around her lifestyle property on the weekends.
Lois Henderson
Proudly an Albany local born and bred, Lois previously worked for an iconic insurance company for two years before joining South Coast insurance Brokers in 2018. Always striving to improve her knowledge, she has completed a Certificate II in Business, as well as completing all stages of insurance sector courses up to and including the Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking). This level of experience and training makes Lois a valuable member of our team, providing assistance to all staff, while specialising in farm and crop insurance and claims. Away from work, Lois enjoys getting out and about in Albany, camping and enjoying good food with her friends.
Sandra Blair
Sandra has over 35 years experience working in the insurance sector in a variety of roles, with the last 10 years specialising in Construction and Home Indemnity. Sandra is an experienced Office Broker with a demonstrated history of working in the insurance industry. Sandra has a Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking) and is a Senior Associate of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) and Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker (QPIB). Sandra has a hybrid working arrangement with South Coast Insurance Brokers which provides flexibility to work remotely based in Perth while still available to interact with our valued clients. Focusing on providing a great customer experience for each client is forefront of Sandra’s values along with assisting clients with their insurance requirements with an emphasis on long-term relationship building. Sandra enjoys daily walking and whenever possible, caravanning adventures around the great state of WA.
Danelle Pierce
Following a new addition to her family, Danelle decided a change of career was overdue, having spent 10 years working in the real estate sector, mainly as a Property Manager with local real estate firms. Danelle joined our team in 2021, bringing with her many transferrable skills that have proven useful in her role as Claims Broker. Danelle has also attained her Tier 2 in General Insurance qualification and assists our broking team. When not assisting clients to negotiate their way through the claims process, Danelle loves spending time with her family (both human and furry) and friends, especially if this involved being outdoors – camping, 4WD-ing, and being at the beachbeing some of her favourite activities.
Mieke Hockins
Mieke has recently joined South Coast Insurance Brokers as our dedicated claims broker and brings with her a wealth of knowledge from her time working in agricultural, heavy and light motor claims assessing. Visitors to our office may get to meet Mieke’s offsider and our favourite office dog, Molly.
Sarah Parker
Sarah is an Albany local, and joined South Coast Insurance Brokers in 2022 after a time working in bookkeeping. Sarah has attained the Tier 2 in General Insurance qualification and can assist you with all aspects of personal insurance broking. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys gardening and kayaking, taking in the beauty and serenity of nature.
Rose Duncanson
Rose is our friendly receptionist and broker assistant and will be your first point of contact on the phone and in our office. Rose is an Albany local and has recently joined South Coast Insurance Brokers after working in retail. Rose has completed the Tier 2 in General Insurance and can assist you with your personal insurance needs. In Rose’s spare time she loves dancing, taking her three bull terrier dogs for walks and spending time with her family.
